Pocket Watch is a Grand Rapids based 6 piece jazz-fusion band with old school funk vibes mixed with a new age jazz sensibility.

Pocket Watch is comprised of Berklee and Michigan State alumni, with members hailing from various other groups around West Michigan like Minor Element, Earth Radio, the Verve Pipe, Squatch, Whorled, and Cosmic Knot. Members of this ensemble have prior experience with national tours opening for Five For Fighting, festival appearances with Afro Man and Spin Doctors, as well as memorable performances at summer NAMM and SXSW.

The group brings a mix of Snarky Puppy influenced artistry with festival jam band energy, with something for every fan to keep their interest through the night. The group has been cutting their teeth with various West Michigan performances, as finalists at Stray’s Battle of the Bands, headlining slots at Holland’s Park Theatre and Grand Rapids’ Pyramid Scheme. Most recently, the band emerged as winners of Grand Haven’s Walk The Beat competition, receiving 40 hours of recording time at the legendary Third Coast Recording studio, owned by John Mayer and Bon Jovi collaborating engineer Bill Chrysler.
