Kaitlin Rose has been playing guitar and writing songs for nearly 20 years, with early inspiration from Jewel, Ani Difranco, and Neil Young. She has recorded six albums of original material from the Midwest to the West Coast, including her most recent, “Live Enough,” a 20 track project recorded live with a studio audience in April 2019 and a holiday album recorded from home in 2020.
Her incredible vocal range draws in audiences, and the depth and vulnerability of her universal songwriting keeps them coming back. She deftly picks songs on a full-size Martin dreadnought, underscoring a confident and professional stage presence that’s one part candor, one part charm, and one part badass. Audiences and venues rave about Kaitlin’s performances; solo, duo, or with her full band, The Band of Thorns.

Cynthea Kelley
In pursuit of a deeper understanding of music, Cynthea Kelley has developed a diverse musical background over the years. She began her career in music in the singer-songwriter/folk duo Sisters Fair, with her sister Liz Kelley. In this duo, Cynthea and Liz both took on the roles of songwriters, vocalists, and fingerstyle acoustic guitarists. They self-engineered and produced an all-original album, Upturned, which was released in July of 2017, and the EP Where to Begin in August of 2018.
The creative outlet of Sisters Fair inspired Cynthea to formally study music at Coastal Carolina University. During her time at CCU, Cynthea earned a BA in Classical Guitar Performance.
She is currently working as a freelance engineer at La Luna Recording & Sound, and teaching through the Kalamazoo Academy of Rock and the Kalamazoo Music School. She has also been composing a collection of songs that revolve around the concept of finding peace in reflection, in nature, and in self-discovery. The project is in the process of being recorded and is anticipated to be released in early 2022.
