Freekbass is the bass player and vocalist, who hails from Cincinnati, OH, proudly naming his 2015 album after his hometown. His influences are deeply embedded in funk, cultivated under the guidance of the legendary Bootsy Collins, in his early career. Bootsy refers to Freekbass as “the new spiritual warrior for the funk”.

Razor Sharp Johnson – keys/synths

Razor Sharp is an original member of the “Funk Mob” including Bootsy’s Rubberband and George Clinton Parliament-Funkadelic. His discography includes an impressive collection of funk classics.

Rico Lewis – drums/vox

Rico Lewis rode the Mothership around the world with George Clinton for over 13 years, before beaming over to The Bump Assembly. He now tours with Freekbass and also fronts his own group, “Sons of Funk”.
