Our mission is to create a gathering place that will inspire and enlighten a diverse community of people from near and far to celebrate life through beer, music, and food. Further, we strive to strengthen our community by fostering partnerships and giving back.

 

  • History

    Over one hundred years ago, the building known as the Palace Livery provided a vital service making it a unique gathering place for residents of and travelers to Southwest Michigan. This former horse livery has been brought back to life as The Livery.

    Located at 190 5th street, in the Arts District of downtown Benton Harbor, Michigan, the Livery features 16 taps (two nitro) of "Hand-Forged Microbrew", 2 Real Ale taps, an outdoor bier garden, free WIFI, and a kitchen serving locally sourced food, focusing on spent-grain pizza.

    Music and other live entertainment are regularly featured in The Upper Livery entertainment venue.

    You must be age 21 or older to enter The Livery. People under age 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
