Due to many requests, The Livery is once again hosting “The Vagina Monologues” by Eve Ensler. In spite of real progress in women’s rights around the globe, problems with quality of life still remain. Please join us Thursday, October 23rd 2014 at 7:00 pm to experience a play dedicated to all women and girls here at home… and in other countries… who are targets of mental, physical and violent abuse. Many are vulnerable to armed groups, arrest, gang rape and kidnapping. According to a global review of 2013, 35% of women have experienced either sexual or physical violence. In today’s wars, rape is weapon to terrorize and advance their cause. Trafficking ensnares millions into modern day slavery. Hopefully, our presentation will heighten you awareness of a serious situation. Don’t miss an entertaining and informative evening!
