Mudskippers hit The Livery stage with their progressive-folk, on Friday, June 14th!

9 PM show | “Pay What You Want” admission

Hailing from Boston, Mudskippers is a four piece acoustic outfit that embodies New England style grass, modern songwriting, and a respect of Bluegrass and Old Time traditions. Living in the hotbed of progressive folk that produced Joy Kills Sorrow, Crooked Still, and The Deadly Gentlemen, Mudskippers carries the torch with heavy grooves, entrapping lyricism and heartfelt composition. Led by singer/songwriter/groove-machine Ethan Hawkins and featuring National Mandolin Champion Ethan Setiawan, bass phenomenon Dan Klingsberg, and award-winning fiddler Avery Merritt, they push the envelope of modern acoustic music whilst keeping sight of the traditions and style that built and defined it. The band seeks a sound that will inspire and uplift audiences in the same way that it does for them, and to convey the joy that art creates.
