Gregory Stovetop is a human Olympic Torch. Born and raised in Chelsea, Michigan and currently hailing from Queens, New York, Stovetop has earned a devoted cult following that comes from the underground and is quickly making it’s way up into the airwaves around the world. An electrified Earth Angel, radiating love and passion in an original singular world of sound, Gregory Stovetop is as fluent in Elvis and Johnny Cash as he is in Soundgarden and The Replacements. After a string of lo-fi DIY releases and almost 2 decades as an underground cult-favorite phenom, Gregory Stovetop is emerging with his first proper studio release – “The Good Stuff”, recorded by Ian Gorman in Kalamazoo, mixed by Eddie Spear (Jack White, Willie Nelson) in Nashville and mastered by Glenn Brown (Spinal Tap, Eminem) in Lansing. “The Good Stuff” was co-produced by longtime friends and fans Dominic Davis and Seth Bernard, who selected the songs, studios and players in an effort to put all the pieces together for the best rock record possible.
